Support Small Shop (iOS version) app for iPhone and iPad

This is an App to let users to access a crowdsourced database to support small shops in Hong Kong. It is a read-only version.

It was developed as one of the members found out he cannot access it using his iPhone. Want to do anything, you have to do it yourselves. He even whilst testing this APP to find a missing shop and a yellow umbrella using the Nearby Option of the App.

The App does not collect any personal data.

The location data is only used to calculate for the Nearby Option and for sending to Google for display in Google Map.

The Internet access is required when the App has to access the crowdsource database which is the main feature of this apps. I got an assurance from the database owner that they are not collecting any user data. They would only keep any access log for diagnostic purpose and deleted them after 14 days. In particular, there is no need to need to login the system to use the database.

As an alternative to this crowdsource database, an experimental option of letting user to prepare their own list of the shops they want to support is included.


To use that method, you can use the “my own version” under the App. The App would generate a sample file under iTune File. You can try to use that sample to build your own list. We hope we can find other ways to support small shop. Thanks for trying and using our App.
